in-between (2021)
Since childhood, I have been aware of a distance, a separation, a thin veil between society and myself. It has always been difficult for me to fit in. I feel as if I were observing society from the stage wings.
As at a young age I turned to the stage for protection, now I turn to photography. No matter where I go or who I'm with, I always follow my instincts and shoot spontaneously, real moments, without manipulation.
Simply a response to an unconscious resonance between the scene and my inner self. In these moments the veil is lifted. For me photography is life.
