Tour Exhibition - SUDI PHOTO

Kwaidan – Encounters with Lafcadio Hearn is an exhibition of prints by 20 Japanese and 20 Irish based artists consisting of a sumptuous array of visual interpretations of Kwaidan,the well-known book of ghost stories published in 1904 by Patrick Lafcadio Hearn (1850-1904), also known as Koizumi Yakumo. I am very honored that one of my works is included in the Kwaidan exhibition.You can see the flyer, with my work. The guy sleeping on the train never knew his hand was on the poster!

「怪談 ─ ラフカディオ・ハーンとの邂逅」は、20人の日本のアーティストと20人のアイルランド在住のアーティストによる作品の展示で、1904年にパトリック・ラフカディオ・ハーン（1850-1904）、別名・小泉八雲として知られる作家によって出版された幽霊話の名作『怪談』のビジュアル的解釈が見事に揃ったものです。私の作品がその中に加わることになり大変光栄に思っています。京都展では、ポスターに私の作品が採用されました。銀座線で眠っている男性の手を撮ったものですが、本人は知るよしもありません。
